What is MMR?
MMR (Mood Movie Recommender) is an intelligent recommendation system that suggests movies, series, anime, cartoons, and kids content based on your mood or what you feel like watching.
Instead of scrolling endlessly, you simply describe what you want, and MMR finds content that matches it.
How does MMR work?
MMR combines:
- AI understanding of your input
- Movie and TV databases
- Smart filtering and ranking systems
It interprets your mood or request, finds relevant content, filters out mismatches, and presents the best options.
Why do I sometimes get unexpected recommendations?
This can happen when:
- Your request is too broad
- The system detects overlapping genres or themes
We continuously improve accuracy using:

Does MMR support anime and cartoons?
Yes.
MMR supports:
- Movies and series (via TMDB)
- Anime (via AniList)
- Cartoons
Each category uses its own database to ensure better accuracy.
Why does it take a few seconds to generate results?

How do I use MMR?
Simply type what you’re in the mood for.
Examples:

Then hit send. That’s it.
Do I need to be specific?
The more specific you are, the better your results.
For example:
- “Action movie” → broad results
- “Fast-paced action movie with time travel” → much better results
What does “More like these” do?
It loads additional recommendations similar to the current results, helping you explore further without starting over.
What are the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons for?
They help improve your experience.
- 👍 = relevant recommendation
- 👎 = not relevant
Your feedback helps the system refine future suggestions.
Can I watch trailers directly?
Yes.
You can:
- Watch trailers (desktop)
- Open trailers externally (mobile)
Why do I need to tap posters on mobile?
On smaller screens, details are hidden to keep things clean.
Tapping a poster opens a modal with:
- Full synopsis
- Rating
- Runtime
- Streaming providers
- Trailer access
👶Kids Mode
What is Kids Mode?
Kids Mode is a separate family-safe recommendation mode designed specifically for children and younger audiences.
When Kids Mode is activated:
- adult-oriented content is excluded
- only family-safe recommendations are shown
- normal content filters are temporarily disabled
What content types are available in Kids Mode?
Kids Mode includes:
- Kids Movies
- Kids Series
- Kids Cartoons
What’s the difference between Kids Movies and Kids Cartoons?
Kids Movies
Focuses on:
- live-action family movies
- children/family adventures
- non-animated family entertainment
Examples:

Kids Cartoons
Focuses on:
- animated movies
- cartoons
- CGI animation
- animated family content

Why are normal Movies, Series, Anime, and Cartoons disabled when Kids Mode is active?
This prevents kids content from mixing with adult-oriented recommendations and keeps the recommendation environment family-safe.
How do I exit Kids Mode?
Simply deactivate the Kids button or use the cancel/close option provided in the interface.
🎲 Surprise Me
What is “Surprise Me”?
The Surprise Me feature generates a random recommendation when you’re not sure what to watch. It helps you discover something new without needing to type a mood or search request.
Can I use Surprise Me without entering a mood or date range?
Yes. That’s exactly what it’s for. You do not need to type anything before using it.
Why would I use Surprise Me instead of typing my mood?
It’s useful when you want to discover something new but don’t have a specific mood, genre, or title in mind. It gives you a quick suggestion and can help you decide what to watch faster.

Can I filter by year?
Yes.
You can choose a start and end year to narrow down results.
Can I select multiple content types?

💳 Credits & Free Usage FAQ
What are credits?
Credits are the number of recommendation requests you can make inside MMR. Every successful recommendation generation uses 1 credit.
How many free credits do guests receive?
Guest users currently receive 3 free recommendation credits.
Do credits expire?
At the moment, guest credits do not expire automatically.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Once all free credits are used, recommendation generation will be temporarily blocked until future account/subscription features are released.
⚡ Performance & Limits
Why am I seeing a limit message?
To prevent abuse and keep the system stable, requests are limited per:
- minute
- day
- month
Will I know when my limit resets?
Yes.
You’ll see the exact time you can try again, so there’s no guesswork.
Why do I sometimes get an error message?
This may happen due to:
- temporary server issues
- API limits
- network interruptions
The system automatically tries to recover using fallback providers.

Does MMR store my data?
MMR stores minimal data required to:
- improve recommendations
- track usage limits
No sensitive personal data is required to use the system.
